Mr. Ajit Vadaviya, age 52 years, was diagnosed with left hemiplegia. He had a 19-month history of weakness in his left upper limb with almost no voluntary hand control. His major difficulties included no finger flexion/extension, no wrist control, no functional grip, and increased tone/spasticity (Grade 1+).
He began rehabilitation at RehabVeda on 31/08/2024, where he started specialised hand therapy using the RehabVeda R1 neuro-rehab system. After starting therapy, he attended sessions consistently and followed a personalised programme focused on improving finger movement, reducing tone, and building functional grips.
On reassessment on 11/10/2025, Ajit showed meaningful improvement –
Now Ajit is able to grasp objects like a glass or ball with assistance, and he has begun active release training. His progress demonstrates strong neuroplastic recovery, even 19 months after the stroke, supported by continuous RehabVeda R1 therapy.
